In all of your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths …

Proverbs 3:6

The Cross

I believe … the Bible is inspired by the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. Hence, Jesus is the reason I live, the reason I aspire to help the less fortunate among us, in any capacity, and the reason I pray for all the world to know Him and receive the gift of salvation by His loving sacrifice on the Cross on Calvary. This self-sacrifice and Jesus’ triumphant victory over death was beautifully illustrated in my post entitled, Representative Work, which is about the magnificent painting by Don Dicianni’s The Resurrection. Musing upon it fills me with joy. I know one day I will be in Heaven worshiping and having fellowship with Jesus.
This painting depicts the definite difference between religion and faith. Religion is man’s way to Heaven through good works and deeds. Faith is the belief in the redemptive blood of Jesus Christ, which was shed on the Cross to atone for our sins so that we may be reconciled to God not for anything we have done, but on account of what Jesus did for us

I want … to enjoy powerful, inspirational music, dance, and singing. How free do you feel when music is playing? Is it music in English or a foreign language? No idle thoughts, only profound postulations. Hebrew music, in particular, is significant to me because I want to become a missionary nurse in Israel. It inspires me to hear words that I will one day speak and understand especially when these words are about the reason why I do all things: The Messiah. Language molds our minds — my post Musical Theme experiments with rich, diverse sounds, which communicate a unifying message from the impressive musical talents of Haendel’s Messiah to Adonai Machesenu by the Messianic Jewish Alliance. Hebrew hymns, old and modern alike, ignite, invoke, and inspire life in us today. I want to incline others to allow language to influence their life immensely every day, too.

I know this to be true… we are all fearfully and wonderfully made — the creatures of the air to life in the sea. God, in His infinite wisdom, knew all of our needs and lovingly accommodated us. In the photographs presented in the blog post Photographer’s Eye, they all about the beautiful furry companions in my life. Asher, Baron, Hannah, and the kitties to the ducks; they are and were great listeners and loyal during various times in my life, and I thank God for them. I know this is why people seek pet companionship. Animals help to heal emotional and mental wounds. Moreover, we seek out fellowship with each other, even though another person can be the cause of that hurt and pain. Jesus correctly identified in Acts 20:35 – “It is more blessed to give than receive.” Indeed. Providing love to another person or pet is inherently divine. My beloved furry companions testify to, once again, the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. He encompasses all.

All we see, hear, feel, and touch is created by the Lord. Accordingly, my posts throughout this course have accredited Him by name to give thanks and appreciate to Him for all He has done. Without Him, I would not be, I would not desire, nor would I know the Truth. My inspiration to become a missionary nurse is because of my love Jesus. We are commanded to love our neighbor as ourselves. What better way to care for your neighbor than to help and heal them physically, mentally, and spiritually? Furthermore, my prayer is that all who will read my posts will come to know Jesus, too; be it through art, music, nature, or companionship.

“But ask the animals, and they will teach you, or the birds in the sky and they will tell you; or speak to the earth, and it will teach you, or let the fist in the sea inform you. Which of all these does not know that the hand of the LORD has done this? In His hand is the life of every creature and the breath of all humanity.” Psalm 96:11-12
