The interior space of my dwelling is three dimensional. It is functionally divided by mature, but unpronounced vertical, horizontal geometric lines. The effect of the symmetrical division promotes an organization of domesticated living space. It does so by utilizing the expanse optimally based upon its frequency of use and the proximity needed to fully benefit by its placement in connection with other areas within the interior.

As you enter the apartment, you are welcomed by a flood of natural light centrally illuminating from the patio, sliding doors. The integration of brightness presents an openness to the area within a backdrop on lush foliage. The earth tones used on the walls further nurture a calm ambiance which has already been established by the deliberately designed, centered space. In spite of it being accommodating for familial purposes, it also tries to harmonize within its earthly surroundings by incorporating a wall window to allow free interaction between the unnature and the natural.
Another place I enjoy spending time regularly is quite in contrast to my living quarters. Although, I do prefer my apartment for studying and relaxing due to its intimate size. The function of this structure is to shelter large gatherings of people for a common purpose. The interior is geometrically designed with dominating vertical lines, encompassed by primary, bold colors. Mirrors are aligned along the back wall to advance the perception that the area is larger than it appears. It is similar to my living space in that it invites you in, however, not by natural means rather by artificial, mood lighting. The area is by proportion vastly larger than my humble abode. Hence it maintains positive space without appearing overcrowded due to its sheer three-dimensional size. Its central space is also offset by peripheral additions which further the facade of infinite volume.
